Creating a fellowship of patient advocates in early access – what did we learn?

Over recent years, through listening to the needs of patient advocacy group leaders, Clinigen became aware that there was appetite for additional training, networking and mentorship within early access. Leaders of patient advocacy groups wanted to engage with the topic of early access, but some felt out of their depth. Responding to this need and drawing on its own extensive experience, Clinigen created its Patient Advocate Fellowship in early access—shaped with patient advocates—for patient advocates. Now Clinigen are building on this momentum, increasing dialogue and continuing to drive optimised, patient-friendly early access.
